Lana Del Red by AnnikaNaumann Lana Del Red by AnnikaNaumann
Today I was very bored, so I searched something to draw and came up with the beautiful Lana :)
The reference picture is very very lovely, but I wanted to add some colour and drew it with red and orange Polychromo pencils :3
I think you could label this as a speedpaint, because it took just two hours drawing it.
I had a lot of fun doing this, so I want to draw more of Lana in the future :) (Hiddles too, for sure)
I hope you enjoy it!

Yet again, the hair is so good! How do you do it with pencil crayons?

Thanks a lot!
I used three different colours for this: dark brown, a gold-ish caramel and black. So I started with the caramel and just drew strokes from the top of the head to the tips of the strains. Then I went ahead and shaded a bit with the dark brown (again in drawing strokes). At the end, I darkened just a few, dark parts with the black, again in strokes, so it looks more natural. Aaand finished :)
Maybe it was just a rhetorical question, maybe it wasn't, but here you go ;D

No, I actually wanted to know how! Thank you so much for replying. Most people don't :)

No problem ;)
I find it kind of sad when artists don't reply, that looks like they don't appericiate comments, critique or praise. But I appericiate everything, as long as it's constructive ;)

Sometimes it makes them seem like they just expect that kind of reaction to their work, but I don't know. I try to reply and thank people when I can. Yes, me too, but I don't think I have ever had anyone be rude

Yes, I think the same.
I think replying is a nice gesture to show that you care how other people think about your work. Same about me, I've never had any rude comments under my deviations, so, it's okay ;)
